TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide nocturnal locum coverage in a hospital-based emergency department in Clinton, North Carolina. This is an ongoing need in an independent practice setting and requires comfort with solo physician coverage supported by APPs and nursing staff. 22-bed Emergency Department Trauma designation: Not a trauma center (trauma patients transferred via air or ground) EMR: Meditech 6.1 Practice Environment Clinical setting: Main Emergency Department Age range treated: All ages Coverage model: Solo physician coverage Two Physician Assistants and full nursing staff on shift Provider must be comfortable practicing independently On-call specialty support available 24/7: General Surgery Orthopedics OB/GYN Anesthesia Provider Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physicians: Minimum 1+ year of experience Family Medicine physicians: Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Medicine experience Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, ATLS Prior enrollment in Medicaid required (North Carolina) Credentialing Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 30 days Credentialed with major payors and insurance carriers Travel & Reimbursement Housing Reimbursement available Mileage reimbursement available Interested candidates, please send your resume to Kayla Garza at or call/text for more information.
