- Setting: obstetric services including L&D, postpartum, newborn care, and OB post-op in an acute-care environment

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and related units
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, assess labor progression, and respond to changes in clinical conditions
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean deliveries as needed; manage postpartum and newborn care
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols; ensure safety and comfort for mother and newborn
- Coordinate with OB/GYN, anesthesia, neonatal, and nursing teams; document care plans and progress in the medical record
- Support couplet care and efficient patient flow across obstetric services as assigned

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications current
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience
- Ability to work in a labor and delivery unit and provide postpartum, newborn nursery, and OB post-op care
- Must be located more than 45 miles from the assignment facility; mileage to be listed on submission packet
- Drug screen on-site and background check required
- Must have completed at least 2 prior travel assignments; no first-time travelers
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in Kansas
