RN - MedSurg/Tele

Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Day shifts from 06:30 AM to 06:00 PM. Minimum requirement of 3 weekends within a 6-week period.

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be comfortable with pediatrics and have experience in telemetry and med/surg nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a med/surg setting.
• Monitor vital signs and manage IVs, medications, and treatments.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
• Perform necessary assessments and interventions for all patient age groups.
• Document all patient care activities in the Meditech charting system.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of med/surg experience is required.
• Tele experience is essential.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• PALS certification is mandatory prior to starting.
