Job Summary The Polisher is responsible for operating polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve smooth, high-quality finishes on metal parts. This role requires interpreting technical drawings, using precision measuring instruments, and performing finishing tasks to meet strict quality standards. The position plays a key role in ensuring components meet customer specifications and supports seamless workflow across fabrication and assembly teams. Key Responsibilities O perate polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve smooth finishes on metal parts Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and files to understand surface finish requirements Use precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality and dimensions Perform finishing tasks using grinders, buffing wheels, and polishing compounds Conduct quality inspections to ensure surfaces meet GD&T standards Collaborate with teams in fabrication, assembly, and materials handling for workflow efficiency Maintain clean work environment by following safety protocols and proper tool handling Required Qualifications Proven experience in metal finishing, machining, or manufacturing environments (factory experience preferred) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in manufacturing or assembly line settin gs Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in high-precision manufacturing or aerospace/automotive industries Education: High School
