Medical Receptionist

Job Description

Torrington Podiatry Office seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist. Applicants should possess great interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Reliability is a must.

Main responsibilities include answering phones and scheduling appointments, greeting, registering, and assisting patients, calling insurance companies to verify coverage/benefits/referrals, and obtaining prior authorizations. Occasionally commuting to assist the doctor in nursing home and assisted living settings will also be required.

Full-time employee benefits include Medical Insurance, 401k, PTO
