This role is ideal for someone who is motivated to develop advanced imaging skills, provide exceptional patient care, and grow within a highly regarded specialty services team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CTPrepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes in accordance with established protocolsReview physician orders and verify patient identification before proceduresEducate patients regarding exam preparation and procedural expectationsMonitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging processComplete required quality control procedures and maintain equipment standardsMaintain compliance with radiation safety, departmental protocols, and continuing education requirementsWork closely with physicians, clinical staff, and imaging team members to ensure high-quality patient careQualificationsMinimum RequirementsCNMT or ARRT(N) certificationCurrent New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine LicenseBLS certificationStrong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered carePreferred QualificationsNMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certificationPrior PET and/or CT experiencePET experience is not required.
