Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary services. The ideal candidate will be adept in performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a general floors setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators
• Insertion of arterial lines and performing intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and stress tests
• Analyze blood gases

Qualifications

Required:

• 2 years of recent RT experience with intubation experience
• NBRC RRT or CRT certification
• Illinois RT license
• ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
