Respiratory Therapist – Registered (RRT) travel assignment in Seaside, Oregon, beginning 06/29/2026 for several weeks. Responsibilities
- Manage ventilation in invasive and noninvasive modes, including NIV and HFNC, and provide NIV support as indicated
- Perform ABG collection and interpretation, ETCO2 monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, and mask fitting
- Assist with airway management, including intubation support, extubation, and tracheostomy care/suctioning
- Deliver pediatric and neonatal care while maintaining competency across the full patient age spectrum (neonates to geriatrics)
- Function as the solo respiratory therapist across ED, ICU, Med/Surg, OB units, and swing bed program with Epic charting; coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and rapid response as needed
- Maintain equipment proficiency (Draeger, Hamilton, Puritan Bennett, LTV, Respironics) and ensure safe, effective patient care in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
- Active Oregon state RRT license and current RRT credential
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; trauma experience noted; community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
- Ventilator/equipment experience with Dräger, Hamilton, Puritan Bennett, LTV, and Respironics; strong ABG interpretation and NIV skills
- Epic charting experience required; ability to operate as a solo RT across ED/ICU/Med-Surg/OB
- References: 2 required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years); must have a vehicle for assignment
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays as described; orientation of 24 hours
