Our client, a rapidly growing private equity-backed organization, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Finance & FP&A team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to play a visible role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis while working closely with senior leadership. What You’ll Do as the Financial Analyst Own and maintain financial reporting packages, forecasting models, and variance analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives. Analyze gross margin performance, project profitability, and actual versus forecast results. Develop and enhance complex Excel-based financial models used for executive reporting and decision-making. Assist with 13-week cash flow forecasting, covenant reporting, and key financial metrics. Partner with operations, sales, and finance teams to provide actionable business insights. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and overall financial visibility. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, lookups, and potentially macros to streamline reporting. What We’re Looking For in the Financial Analyst Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Approximately 1-5 years of financial analysis, FP&A, banking, corporate finance, or related experience. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are required. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Exposure to cash flow forecasting, lending relationships, covenant reporting, or banking environments is highly valued. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Self-starter mentality with a willingness to bring ideas forward and drive improvements. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
