Responsibilities At Valle Vista, our Nurse Managers supervise the nursing team, directing high‑quality patient care. Key duties include staff recruitment and development, workforce planning, assignment of work, performance appraisal, staff recognition, investigation of complaints, and partnering with senior leadership to resolve problems and explore performance improvement. Valle Vista, a 132‑bed mental health hospital licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the Joint Commission, provides comprehensive treatment for a broad range of psychiatric disorders. Current CPR or BLS certification. Three to five years experience in psychiatric nursing; management experience preferred. Associate of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
