The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, specification, integration, commissioning, and lifecycle support of electrical, control, and power systems used in offshore and subsea operations. This position offers the opportunity to see designs through the full project lifecycle, from concept and engineering through fabrication, testing, mobilization, and field deployment.DutiesLead electrical engineering activities for new and existing PROD systems, equipment upgrades, and field support projectsDevelop and review electrical engineering deliverables including: single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring and interconnection diagrams, load studies, power system analyses, construction work packages, technical specifications and procurement documentationSupport the specification, design, and integration of mechanical/electrical/fiber-optic umbilical systemsDevelop vessel electrical interface requirements, power studies, and mobilization engineering packagesDesign and integrate low-voltage and high-voltage power distribution systems supporting subsea operationsDevelop electrical integration, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and system readiness proceduresProvide technical support to offshore operations, mobilizations, troubleshooting efforts, and root cause investigationsReview vendor documentation, equipment submittals, and interface drawings for technical complianceEnsure compliance with applicable NEC, IEC, NFPA, maritime, and customer-specific requirementsCoordinate closely with mechanical, controls, software, and operations teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutionsSupport HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, design reviews, and risk assessmentsMentor junior engineers and technicians and provide technical leadership throughout project executionMaintain engineering documentation, configuration management, and version control of electrical systemsStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to offshore, subsea, and marine electrical systemsRequiredBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university10+ years of electrical engineering experience in offshore, subsea, marine, or industrial automation environmentsDemonstrated experience designing and integrating subsea equipment, marine electrical systems, and vessel interfacesExperience developing electrical integration, commissioning, FAT, and SAT proceduresStrong background creating and reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction documentationWorking knowledge of subsea power distribution, instrumentation, communications, control systems, and fiber-optic interfacesStrong knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA, and applicable marine electrical standardsProficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium, or similar engineering design toolsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information to stakeholdersAbility to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environmentValid passport with the ability to travel internationally as requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license, preferredExperience with DNV, ABS, or other marine classification standards, preferredExperience with subsea power systems, ROV systems, intervention systems, or offshore construction support, preferredFamiliarity with offshore fabrication, vessel mobilization, and commissioning activities, preferredExperience supporting global offshore operations and field deployments, preferred
