Pay: $20 – $22 per patient visit

Setting: Patient Home Visits

Travel: Must have reliable personal transportation

Status: Independent / Field-Based

 

 

About the Role

We are expanding our mobile phlebotomy services in Brooklyn and Queens and are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our field team. In this role, you'll travel directly to patients' homes to perform blood draws — bringing professional, clinical-grade care to people who need it most, right at their doorstep.

You'll be paid $20–$22 per patient visit, giving you the flexibility to build your schedule and grow your earnings based on patient volume. This is an ideal opportunity for a certified phlebotomist who is comfortable working independently, navigating Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods, and delivering a top-tier patient experience outside of a traditional clinical setting.

What You'll Do

• Travel to patients' homes in Brooklyn and/or Queens to perform blood draws

• Conduct venipuncture and capillary collections safely and efficiently in home environments

• Properly label, package, and transport specimens to ensure integrity and chain of custody

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and collection records in mobile/digital systems

• Communicate professionally with patients, family members, and ordering providers

• Adhere to all infection control, OSHA, and laboratory safety protocols in non-clinical settings

• Manage your own supply kit — restock and inventory personal equipment as needed

• Coordinate daily visit scheduling and route planning to maximize efficiency

What We're Looking For

Required

• Current Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) or demonstrated equivalent clinical experience

• Proven experience performing independent blood draws — mobile or home visit experience a strong plus

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

• Ability to travel throughout Brooklyn and/or Queens on a regular basis

• Strong patient communication skills — able to put nervous or homebound patients at ease

• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation habits

• Comfortable working autonomously without on-site supervision

You'll Stand Out If You Have

• Prior mobile or home health phlebotomy experience

• Familiarity with Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods and traffic patterns

• Experience with pediatric, elderly, or difficult-draw patients

• Knowledge of specimen handling and cold-chain transport requirements
