Job Overview Avanade Inc is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Manufacturing Consultant to join our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will lead the D365F&O Manufacturing workstream, collaborating with clients, consultants, and technical teams to design, configure, and deploy solutions that meet business process requirements. Responsibilities Collect information, analyze requirements, solve business process problems, and provide technical and operational support for D365F&O implementations. Lead the D365F&O Manufacturing workstream, match business processes, transform requirements into an implementation model, and document D365F&O configurations. Prototype and configure applicable processes to ensure the ERP system supports client needs. Lead workshops with clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze, design solutions, and address gaps identified during prototyping. Collaborate with the technical team to design, develop, and test custom solutions approved by clients, including integrations with third‑party applications and services. Refine client business process hierarchies, link functional and non‑functional requirements, and document settings for deployment. Support testing, acceptance, and deployment of the ERP system into day‑to‑day operations. Travel up to 80% of the time to client sites (domestic and international) as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or closely related field (foreign equivalents acceptable). Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Senior D365F&O Manufacturing Consultant or similar role in a technology or IT consulting environment. 5 years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or earlier Dynamics AX. 5 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services or preparing Fit‑Gap analyses and functional design documents. 3 years of experience in the ERP manufacturing business domain covering all manufacturing and supply chain modules within D365. 3 years of experience leading manufacturing and supply chain workstreams, owning supply chain business processes. 3 years of experience running workshops with clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions and handle gaps detected during prototyping. 4 years of experience leading design of functional components related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain during presales and serving as an expert on D365 capabilities and configuration. 4 years of experience designing, building, and demonstrating scenario flows with D365 aligned to the client’s business team’s key requirements. 4 years of experience providing input on estimating the functional workstream for implementations and advising the delivery team during functional solution design. Compensation The offered salary range for this specific position is $149,718 – $150,800 per year.
