We combine craftsmanship, efficiency, and customer service to deliver exceptional results for every client. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Crew Lead / Installer to join our team. This position works under or as the Project Manager and plays a key role in bringing each project to life. The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and knows how to lead a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, timely, and to Type A standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

— On-Site Leadership & Crew Management

• Lead a small crew of installers and laborers on interior and exterior construction projects
• Work hands-on alongside the team, modeling quality craftsmanship, speed, and accuracy
• Ensure daily tasks and project phases are completed on schedule and to company standards
• Communicate directly with the Project Manager for daily updates, needs, and next steps
• Maintain a professional, positive, teamwork-oriented jobsite
• Help train new crew members on tools, techniques, safety, and Type A expectations
• Ensure compliance with jobsite safety protocols and proper use of equipment

— Installation & Hands-On Work

• Perform skilled carpentry and installation tasks such as:
• • framing
  • flooring
  • trim work
  • cabinetry
  • doors/windows
  • exterior installations
  • punch-list and finish work
• Troubleshoot issues on-site and proactively problem-solve
• Maintain clean, organized, safe jobsite conditions throughout the project
• Ensure finished work aligns with project plans and customer expectations

— Coordination & Workflow

• Review daily scope, plans, and materials with the Project Manager before starting work
• Assist with receiving, loading, organizing, and staging materials
• Communicate material shortages or jobsite needs in advance to keep workflow smooth
• Coordinate with subcontractors on-site when directed by the Project Manager
• Provide regular updates on progress, delays, or issues impacting the timeline

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial construction
• Hands-on experience with carpentry and general construction installations
• Experience leading or training a crew is strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Ability to read and follow construction plans, measurements, and scopes of work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions when required
