Branch Manager

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) within a division or group of divisions within a Next Level Branch location. This will include sales and deliver of both construction and service operations within that assigned location. You will also be a key contributor to annual budgeting process, hiring, manpower planning, financial forecasting and customer satisfaction to identify additional duties of this position. This individual shall have no less than 10 years of proven experience within the industry. Branch Manager shall report to Vice President.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Expectations:

Provide effective leadership and management of branch administrative, sales and operations activities to meet customer requirements, sales, profitability and growth goals.

1. People: Hire, retain and contribute to the development of a highly trained, motivated and functional branch team. Sustain employee head count that will consistently meet administrative, sales and operations goals.

2. Orders: Consistently lead, in conjunction with Sales Leadership, the sales activities necessary to meet volume and gross margin sales goals.

3. Sales (Revenue): Oversee operations efforts that result in meeting quarterly sales and gross margin goals.

4. Administration: Oversee and support those activities that result in not exceeding sales and administrative expenses. Oversee the activities necessary to maximize cash flow

Communications Skills Expectations:

1. Oral: Speaking clearly and precisely in one-on-one or small group situations.

2. Written: The timely, consistent completion of project activity reports, service reports and presenting written ideas in a clear and concise manner.

3. Presentation: Orally presenting information and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner.

4. Listening: Understanding what has been said and when necessary probing for a better understanding.

People Skills Expectations:

Skills & Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or other related studies is excellent but not required.
• Three years related experience in sales, construction, or technology.
• Other technical experience such as military, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management.
• An understanding of basic computer systems including MS Office Suite of products.
• Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems, including the MS Office suite of products.
• Passion to continuously develop and improve selling skills.
• Self-motivated.

Essential Functions:

• Be able to lift and carry drawings, personal computers, material, etc.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record, which, per NXL's vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive a company vehicle or receive auto allowance.
