Candidates must reside within this geographic territory and be willing to travel up to 75% to client locations. About FRFS Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine Solutions, Fedwire, National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash, FedACH, and Check Services. We are currently leading a strategic effort to transform FRFS to a national, enterprise-focused organization. Over time, FRFS will offer an increasingly integrated set of Federal Reserve payment services, incorporating the FedNow Service upon its market entry. Through our evolved structure, we will meet the needs of the marketplace for new products and services more quickly, provide a more robust and unified customer experience across our financial service offerings, and create new career growth opportunities for FRFS staff. Role Overview The Senior Regional Relationship Manager serves as the regional and national expert for executive clients and industry stakeholders on behalf of the Federal Reserve Financial Services. This incumbent will consult, design, and deliver on strategic operational and technical initiatives and leverage insights into long-term client planning for top‑tier institutions. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work remotely under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports. Your Responsibilities Develop long‑term relationships with high‑value clients. Champion organizational mission and leadership direction through influence and an enterprise mindset. Execute annual targets related to customer satisfaction, strategic services, and revenue objectives. Attend and represent the organization at industry conferences. Write, edit, and utilize approved content for presentations, outreach, and communication packages across multiple channels. Deliver consultative support to customers on payment operational topics, including data analytics, transaction messaging, and payment efficiency evaluations, and other operational outcomes. Lead product training education for customers, peers, and cross‑functional teams, tailoring content to onboarding and readiness processes and driving overall strategic alignment. Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistency and accuracy of information in the marketplace for institutions served. Consult on client engagements including crisis response (e.g., cyber events, technical issues, operational outages), escalated issues as necessary, and ensure resolution. Strengthen customer relationships while consulting on requests related to implementing new services, onboarding, and production. Develop and implement custom solutions informed by deep knowledge of customer insights, industry trends, and internal business priorities. Present internally and externally (national audiences) on national and regional payments, highlighting relevant research from the Federal Reserve or other entities. Project manage implementation of operational and technical initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, onboarding, and service implementation processes. Consult with product and marketing teams on customer and industry insights to shape messaging and strategic communication for new offerings. Your Background Bachelor's degree in a related field, or commensurate specialized training, certification, or work experience. Minimum 3 years of work experience. Strong technical knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and products, payment systems, regulatory environment, and enterprise financial services. Strong consultative and relationship building skills with a proven track record managing high‑profile client relationships. Demonstrated ability to translate complex processes and direction into actionable plans from beginning to end. Demonstrated ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives across complex organizational structures. Proven ability to positively coach, mentor, and develop others to achieve their professional best. Advanced collaboration and project management skills in cross‑functional workgroups. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including presentations. Demonstrated integrity, honesty and respect. Demonstrated interest in public service and commitment to the mission of the Federal Reserve System. This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and could take approximately two months to be completed. The expected starting salary range for this position is between $121,400 and $150,000 annually in addition to annual performance‑based discretionary bonuses. Final salary and offer will be determined based on the applicant’s relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
