Phlebotomist

Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Greenfield, MA. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with possible holiday and weekend rotations as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Current or previous LabCorp experience. 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency if lacking work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Pay Range: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
