Western Underground, Inc. is looking for a dependable and organized Parts Runner/Yard Facilities Support person to join our team.

This is a non-CDL position responsible for picking up and delivering parts, tools, equipment, and materials between our yard, vendors, and job sites. This position will also assist with maintaining parts inventory and keeping company equipment and support vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for use.

Construction experience or experience working with heavy equipment parts is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport parts, tools, equipment, and materials to and from vendors, job sites, and company facilities

• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment as requested by supervisors and field personnel

• Check inventory for requested parts and tools and notify supervisors when items are not available

• Assist with maintaining an accurate and organized parts inventory

• Perform inventory control duties as assigned

• Fuel and wash construction equipment and support vehicles when equipment comes into or leaves the shop

• Help maintain an organized and clean yard and equipment area

• Complete required paperwork, forms, delivery records, and other documentation

• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with vendors

• Perform other yard and support duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR in accordance with company policy

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Dependable and able to work independently

• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and mechanics

• Familiarity with construction equipment parts and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors

• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

• Must be safety-conscious and able to safely operate around heavy equipment and active job sites
