Townhouse Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing - Facility: Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Position: RN Unit Manager Location: Uniondale, NY Shift: Full Time | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $55 per hour About the Role Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate leader who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced skilled nursing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting performance and competency assessments. Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth and efficient operations. Provide expert clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and achieve individualized resident care goals. Partner with the Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with overall facility goals. Communicate regularly with families and physicians regarding resident progress and updates. Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation. Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations. Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (required). Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Prior leadership or RN management experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills. Sigma experience preferred.
