Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospice

The Mary T. Family of Companies has an immediate opening for a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within our Hospice division based in COON RAPIDS, MN and serving clients in the surrounding area.

Minnesota CNA Certification Required.

The Position: The purpose of the CNA position is to provide personal cares, delegated nursing services, and light housekeeping services to maintain the client's physical and emotional well-being. The CNA will work with hospice patients to provide personal care services, nurse-delegated tasks, and light housekeeping services as directed by the patient's RN Case Manager and their established plan of care. Previous hospice experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

• Part-time,Daytime hours between 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Monday through Thursday
• Approximately 13-15 hours/week. Potential to increase to full-time hours in the future (30+ hrs/wk)
• CNAs will visit 2-4 clients in a typical work day.

Requirements:

• Minnesota CNA Certification required
• At least 1 year of previous hospice experience, preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation required
• The ability to pass a background check
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
