About the Company : We are looking for passionate Children's Clothing Designer
Location: Howell, NJ (Hybrid) Contract (Temp to perm)
Responsibilities :
- Take provided design concepts and develop them into full fashion sketches and style lines.
- Translate conceptual direction into completed garment designs that reflect brand identity and aesthetics.
- Add thoughtful, creative detailing—including trims, embellishments, fabric suggestions, and construction ideas.
- Prepare clear technical drawings and specifications suitable for production.
- Collaborate with our team to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
- Assist with revisions, improvements, and garment development as needed.
Qualifications :
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in children’s fashion or contemporary apparel (preferred but not required).
- Ability to take a concept and elevate it through design execution.
- Proficient in fashion illustration, digital sketching, and technical flats (Adobe Illustrator or similar).
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and production requirements.
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
- Reliable with strong communication and the ability to meet deadlines.
Pay range and compensation package : Freelance/project-based with potential ongoing work. or PTE Compensation based on experience and project scope.
