Job Description

We are seeking experienced commercial plumbers to support new construction projects throughout South Central Pennsylvania, including Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, and York counties. In this role, you contribute as a key member of the plumbing team, delivering high-quality plumbing installations for new multi-unit residential and light commercial buildings while maintaining excellent craftsmanship, strict code compliance, and strong customer service. You work side by side with teammates on site, bringing both solid technical expertise and a desire to learn and grow with a stable, expanding organization.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction multi-unit residential and light commercial buildings, ensuring all work meets local codes and industry standards.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and job layouts to perform accurate and efficient plumbing installations.
• Work side by side with other field personnel on assigned projects, collaborating to complete plumbing tasks on schedule and to quality expectations.
• Assist with rough-in, installation, and finishing of piping, fixtures, and related components in new construction environments.
• Perform commercial plumbing work that may include domestic water, sanitary, storm, and related mechanical systems in coordination with other trades.
• Use hand and power tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing issues on site and support resolution in coordination with supervisors and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and site rules while working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions on commercial construction sites.
• Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds as needed to support installation and construction activities.
• Maintain a professional, reliable presence on job sites, including consistent attendance and timely arrival with dependable transportation.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and systems, and actively participate in training and cross-functional work with HVAC and other mechanical trades.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of commercial plumbing installation experience in new construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in commercial plumbing installation, including piping, fixtures, and related mechanical systems.
• Experience working on commercial construction sites, preferably in multi-unit residential or light commercial projects.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of daily job duties.
• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout South Central Pennsylvania.
• Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
• General construction knowledge, including working alongside other trades on active job sites.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field crews and follow direction from on-site leadership.
• Commitment to learning, professional growth, and long-term development within the trade.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction, including experience on projects of varying sizes.
• Exposure to HVAC, mechanical troubleshooting, ductwork, sheet metal, and refrigeration is beneficial.
• Experience in both commercial and residential mechanical environments is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different types of projects and move between divisions as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on code compliance and quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a tight-knit field crew.

Work Environment

Work takes place primarily on new construction multi-unit residential and light commercial projects across South Central Pennsylvania. You operate on active commercial construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, and must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions throughout the year. The environment involves coordination with other trades such as HVAC, sheet metal, and refrigeration, and you use standard construction and plumbing tools and equipment daily. The field crew culture is tight-knit and collaborative, with hands-on leadership providing guidance and support on site. Work is project-based with consistent activity year-round, and you are expected to maintain a professional appearance appropriate for commercial construction settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WILLOW STREET, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
