Shipping & Receiving ClerkCardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a growing warehouse and distribution facility in Whitehouse, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and dependable individual with shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience to join a fast-paced team. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will support daily warehouse operations by processing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating with warehouse staff and carriers to ensure products move efficiently through the facility. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in our team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation of $20.00 per hour, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available Shift:1st Shift Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Occasional overtime on Sundays may be required.Duties and Responsibilities:Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities, item descriptions, and condition against packing lists and purchase ordersInspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues as neededPrepare outbound shipments, including shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading, and carrier documentationStage, load, and unload materials using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)Update warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) with receiving information, shipment confirmations, and inventory adjustmentsCoordinate with carriers and drivers for pickups, deliveries, and dock assignmentsMaintain organized shipping and receiving areas while following safety proceduresAssist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancy investigationsCommunicate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to resolve shipping and receiving issuesMaintain accurate shipment and receiving records and complete daily reportsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferredExperience using warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) and RF scanners preferredForklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck) preferredKnowledge of LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping processes is a plusAbility to read and interpret packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase ordersStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and OutlookExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
