Social Worker

Job Title

Experience with early childhood and counseling/working with family engagement agencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build working relationships with students, families and administrators. Determine family needs, provide advocacy services, and help obtain available community services. Coordinate the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC), evaluate the needs of families, coordinate systematic parent involvement workshops, conduct small group sessions with students centered around SEL needs, modeling exemplar practices. Experience with social media an asset.

Qualifications: Elementary/Early Childhood Education, NJ State Certificate in School Counseling Experience: Minimum of (3) years teaching experience in preschool and/or elementary school. Knowledge of preschool age group, understanding of the RTI framework, strong background in student behavior management, counseling/socials skills groups and community outreach.

Terms of Employment: Base Salary: $67,380.00 - $108,300.00 Employment Period: Ten (10) Months Union Affiliation: SBEA Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription and Dental Benefits.
