SEC Reporting Manager POST NUMBER: 484568

A growing public company is seeking a Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to join its corporate finance team. This role offers the opportunity to partner with accounting, finance, legal, and executive leadership while supporting critical reporting and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other public company reporting requirements
• Prepare and review financial statement disclosures and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
• Research and document technical accounting matters, including complex and non-routine transactions
• Prepare accounting position papers and technical memos
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support external audits and quarterly review procedures
• Maintain and enhance SOX controls and documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5 years of accounting experience with SEC reporting responsibilities
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and public company reporting requirements
• Experience preparing technical accounting analyses and memos
• CPA preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
