Program Manager

We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on, and results-oriented Vice President, Technical Program Manager to join the Product Operations organization, supporting a critical technology-focused business vertical. This individual will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex, enterprise-scale software initiatives that directly impact key business priorities. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing large-scale technology programs within financial services or fintech environments and thrives in fast‑paced, highly collaborative settings. This role requires someone who can operate as a true partner to Product and Engineering leadership — understanding technical challenges, navigating tradeoffs, driving alignment, and taking ownership of delivery outcomes. This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional organizational discipline, strong communication skills, and the ability to independently identify challenges, drive solutions, and accelerate execution across globally distributed teams. The ideal candidate is also comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools to improve workflows, increase operational efficiency, and enhance executive-level reporting. Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent, high-priority software initiatives, ensuring alignment across business objectives, timelines, resources, and technical dependencies. Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to understand strategic priorities, technical considerations, and delivery tradeoffs while driving shared accountability for outcomes. Lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure effective execution and stakeholder alignment. Build and maintain comprehensive program plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource planning, risks, and mitigation strategies across complex technical initiatives. Identify blockers, analyze root causes, drive resolution, and elevate issues when necessary with clear recommendations and business context. Use analytical insights and operational metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve delivery processes. Serve as the operational owner and power user of Monday.com , developing dashboards, workflows, automations, and reporting structures that provide transparency and accountability across teams. Utilize JIRA and Confluence extensively for sprint tracking, backlog management, engineering alignment, documentation, decision tracking, and maintaining durable program artifacts. Establish Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence as an integrated operating toolkit to support roadmap visibility, execution tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. Prepare and present executive-level status updates, dashboards, project reporting, and performance metrics to leadership teams. Facilitate working sessions, decision forums, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and enable timely decision-making. Leverage AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic Claude to streamline operational workflows, including meeting synthesis, communications, documentation, analysis, reporting, and executive deliverables. Continuously evaluate and implement AI‑assisted workflows that improve team efficiency, reduce operational overhead, and increase execution velocity. Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in program management, technical project management, or business analysis roles. Proven success delivering multiple complex, technically sophisticated software initiatives simultaneously within financial services, fintech, or enterprise technology environments. Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering leaders, with a strong understanding of product strategy, software development lifecycles, technical architecture, sprint planning, and engineering tradeoffs. Demonstrated ability to manage globally distributed teams and cross‑functional stakeholders. Exceptional communication, organization, and influencing skills with the ability to align teams at all levels. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently identify problems, develop solutions, and drive execution with minimal oversight. Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing initiatives, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and hands‑on expertise with program management tools, including Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence . Strong operational mindset with experience improving processes, optimizing workflows, and enabling high‑performing teams. Experience influencing teams without direct authority and fostering accountability across complex initiatives. Hands‑on experience using AI productivity tools, including: Microsoft 365 Copilot for email, Teams collaboration, documentation, and meeting summaries Anthropic Claude for analysis, summarization, and operational content generation Comfortable experimenting with AI‑driven workflows to improve productivity, decision‑making, and quality of executive‑facing materials.
