Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage primarily on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional days and vacation coverage as needed.

Location:

• Weaverville, NC

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and verify technician work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Verify prescriptions accurately to maintain patient safety.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and answer their questions confidently.
• Administer immunizations if certified, supporting community health initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Immunization certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Schedule/Hours:

• Fridays 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM ongoing.
• Additional days and vacation coverage may be required.
