Employment Type Full-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant X-ray / Radiography Certification What You Bring to the Chair: • RDA or CDA preferred (but we welcome fast-learning new grads too!) • 1+ year of assisting experience or strong clinical skills • X-ray, BLS/CPR, and nitrous certifications Job Description What You’ll Do: • Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit. • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments. • Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments. • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality. •Update patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients. • Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices. • Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures. • Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols Benefits Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off What You’ll Get: • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Health insurance + employee dental discount Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Work Hours: • Monday to Friday, 6-hour shifts • 30 hours/week About the Practice Name: Laguna Summit Location: 24953 Paseo De Avlencia, Suite 13C, Laguna Hills, CA 92653
