Fabrication Operator

Summary As a Fabrication Operator at nVent Management Company, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing. You will ensure world-class products by skillfully operating fabricating machines. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work with modern machinery in a collaborative and innovative environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read shop work orders to determine machine adjustments and material requirements Understand bend allowances, thickness tolerances, and machine tonnage requirements Set stops or guides to specified length using scale, rule, or template Perform minor daily and weekly machine maintenance including oiling machines, refilling fluids, and general cleaning Operate all material handling equipment including forklifts, jib cranes, and vacuum lifters Rivet and spot weld work pieces Endeavor to build a work environment that is enjoyable, fosters pride in the product, and focuses on the customer Qualifications To excel in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
