POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine (NM) exam(s)/procedures for diagnostic purposes. Receives direction from: Radiology Leadership. EDUCATION: LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, required ARRT or NMTCB certified, required KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology principles and procedures. Working knowledge of radiation safety requirements for staff and patients. Skill in injection of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedure. Keyboarding and the use of computer systems to process patient and department information, Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conduction nuclear medicine procedures.
