Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and motivated Machinists to join our team across three levels: Machinist I, Machinist II, and Machinist III (Programmer). Each level offers increasing responsibility, technical complexity, and compensation based on experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Machinist I team members support daily machining operations, perform basic machine setup, and ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Machinist II professionals operate with greater independence, perform complex setups, troubleshoot machining issues, and contribute to process improvements.
• Machinist III team members are advanced operators responsible for CNC programming, precision machining, complex setups, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

• Lathe and Mill operation
• CNC programming (for Machinist III)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of technical school or college in a relevant discipline OR equivalent years of hands-on machining experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
