Job  Summary

City of Houston is looking for an experienced Staff Analyst. Maintain up to date procedures, ensuring that the HHD 340B policy manual is current, and coordinated with all impacted programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop systems and processes to limit program liability and provide proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion. 
• Review all policies and procedures and offer contributions to required changes. Monitor and track all policy changes regarding compliance from HRSA, CMS, and any all-relevant agencies. 
• Monitor the prime vendor program and assist in developing strategies to provide greater saving to the programs. 
• Become familiar with all pertinent contracts including the Avita contract, the contracts that are included in the R & S Distributor

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a field directly related to the type of work being performed.
• Graduate degrees related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis 
• Three years of professional administrative , financial or analytical experience related to the type of work being performed are required. 
• Professional experience related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
