Sam's Club #8237 5400 I 20 Frontage Rd, Monroe, LA 71202-4040 Job ID: R-2484061 Pay: $19.00 - $27.00/hr (actual rate will equal or exceed minimum wage) Full time, shifts may vary Position Summary Position to support daily operations at Sam's Club in Monroe. Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans using the Open Door Policy. Operate forklift safely, following company standards and guidelines while picking, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; determine and recommend improvement opportunities. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow and maintain required paperwork logs. Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance, and supporting members regarding self‑service technology and purchasing decisions. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, and setting up displays. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders and performing accuracy audits. Handle inventory movements, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor inventory practices. Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways; report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning forklifts to management. Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them, and assist with technology services and items. Maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly, promptly fixing any problems. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience. Retail experience. Experience supervising a team.
