If interested, please apply with an updated work history.Assembler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Perform mechanical assembly of piping components and systems (2"-36") in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsConduct in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy, part orientation, and overall conformance to specifications; escalate discrepancies as neededMaintain accurate inspection and production records, ensuring final products meet or exceed internal and customer quality standardsInspect and verify tools for safe operation; ensure calibration is current and compliantUse Medix to accurately interpret job packets and spool documentationComplete all required daily checklists, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks, and 5S housekeeping duties to support a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentCollaborate effectively with Line Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, and Operations to resolve technical issues related to part drawings, BOMs, and assembly modelsAssembler Requirements:- Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment is preferred- Familiarity with Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and SOPs is beneficial- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows and general computer systems is preferred- Strong understanding of basic math, including fractions and decimals; ability to use tape measures and precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, vernier scales)- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints is a plus- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environmentIND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
