Quality SpecialistWe are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Quality Specialist in Texas. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing quality control experience, knowledge of non-conformance reporting, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and perform precision inspections. Candidates from steel, metal fabrication, medical device, and other precision manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.Compensation: $55,000-65,000 annuallyLocation: Alvarado, TXWork Model: OnsiteEmployment Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PMBenefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, & 401kWhat's the job?Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, product specifications, and dimensional tolerances.Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers and other precision measurement equipment.Conduct visual inspections and product testing to verify product quality and conformance.Identify nonconforming materials and products, prepare and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and document findings.Review engineering drawing revisions, material certifications, specifications, and inspection records.Maintain accurate quality documentation and testing records.Assist with quality audits, ISO-related compliance activities, and calibration of inspection equipment.Communicate quality concerns to operations and quality leadership and support corrective actions and continuous improvement.Work independently while collaborating with the site Operations Manager and Regional Quality Manager.What's needed?Manufacturing or industrial quality control experience, including hands-on inspection and non-conformance reporting (NCRs).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and tolerances.Experience using micrometers and other dimensional measurement tools.Technical education, such as a two-year technical school program, or relevant technical education supported by experience.Familiarity with quality documentation, inspection records, and drawing revisions.Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound quality decisions independently.Clear communication skills and the ability to escalate issues and work with operations teams.ISO 9000/9001 knowledge, steel or metal fabrication experience, material certifications, auditing, calibration, and material testing experience are strongly preferred.What's in it for me?Meaningful responsibility: Join a small quality team where your inspection work directly supports product quality and manufacturing standards.Consistent schedule: Work Monday through Friday with a 7:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule.Paid time off and benefits: Receive 15 days of PTO, federal holidays, a 401(k), and a standard company benefits package.Technical development: Build experience with precision measurement, engineering drawings, quality systems, material certifications, and product testing.Growth opportunities: Join an expanding manufacturing organization with opportunities to develop within its quality function.LaSalle Network is the leading provider of direct hire and temporary staffing services.
