About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the engineering roadmap, driving innovation and technology adoption, managing R&D initiatives, and implementing process improvements such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, and a proven track record in a leadership role within a similar industry. Candidates for the Vice President of Engineering position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, with an MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of engineering experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. The role demands a leader with in-depth knowledge of engineering processes, design for manufacturability, and experience in a production-oriented engineering environment.
