OhioMeansJobs | Lake County is accepting resumes for the following position: Position: Assembler I Location: Mentor, OH Hours: Full Time Pay: Based On Experience Position ID: 3273 POSITION SUMMARY The Assembler I will support the Assembly Department by assembling parts and subassemblies according to work orders, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions. This position requires basic mechanical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, gauges, and other production equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Assemble parts, components, and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, machines, templates, and measurements. - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, work orders, parts lists, and written assembly instructions. - Position and align components manually or with the use of hoists. - Verify completed assemblies for proper fit, fastening, measurements, and quality specifications. - Follow established quality-control procedures and accurately complete production and inspection documentation. - Maintain tools and equipment by performing basic preventive maintenance, identifying issues, and coordinating repairs when needed. - Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety procedures and regulations. - Follow verbal and written instructions while working collaboratively with team members. - Perform additional duties as assigned.
