Job Opportunity: Gastroenterologist and GI Hospitalist

We are a physician-led, nonprofit health organization located in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan, currently in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist and GI Hospitalist. This position offers the chance to join a well-established and expanding gastroenterology practice in Elkhart, Indiana. The new physician will collaborate with a seasoned gastroenterologist to develop a practice that aligns with their personal interests, enjoying flexibility in clinic, procedural, and inpatient duties.

Practice Highlights

• Focus on general gastroenterology, GI hospitalist medicine, or integrate subspecialty interests into your practice.
• Advanced endoscopy skills, such as ERCP and EUS, are appreciated but not mandatory.
• Procedures are conducted in both hospital and ambulatory surgical center settings.
• Benefit from a strong support team, including dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with the potential to expand as the practice grows.
• Access to an established inpatient support system.
• Utilize Olympus endoscopy equipment.
• Teaching opportunities are available through a regional medical school and local residency programs.

Practice Structure

• Work a Monday through Friday schedule tailored for General/Advanced GI Physicians.
• The practice comprises approximately 75% screening and 25% diagnostic procedures.
• The current call schedule is 1:4, from Monday to Monday, with daytime coverage only.
• Customize your clinic and procedural volume according to your preferences.
