You will design, develop, and test electro-mechanical hardware systems including haptic devices, exoskeletons, and related systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.What You'll DoDesign, prototype, and test hardware systems for human-robot interactionCreate detailed CAD models and drawings for mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, and toolsUtilize 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques to develop and validate hardware prototypesCollaborate with software and mechanical engineers to integrate hardware with software and mechanical designsConduct tests and simulations to ensure functionality and reliability of hardware systemsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware issues and provide technical support through the product development lifecyclePrepare documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and test proceduresYou Should HaveBS, MS, or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceProven experience in hardware design and prototyping spanning both electrical and mechanical componentsProficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Onshape, or equivalentExperience with Arduino or similar platforms for electronic prototyping and control systemsFamiliarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniquesStrong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and signal processingExperience with testing and debugging hardware systemsCompensation: Base Salary: $100,000 - $300,000, depending on experience.
