Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

Block schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); weekends required (blocks include FridaySunday).

Minimum of 1 year of experience. Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA. EMR: EPIC experience required.

Ensure effective and efficient sterile processing workflows including manual cleaning, equipment operation, and set/tray assembly. Perform sterilization monitoring using biological and chemical indicators. Handle various instruments and equipment, including case carts and implants. Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and endoscopy basics. Support specialties involving robotics and various surgical fields such as orthopedics and urology.

Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Request time off rules: 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; more requires approval. Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Background checks may require additional approvals. Scrub policy: any color scrubs for general staff.
