TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Infusion RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27403!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC required; ACLS and OCN preferred. Must-Have: Previous infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required. Previous charge nurse experience preferred. EPIC experience required. Description: The candidate will work in an infusion center setting. The candidate will provide care for patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology. The candidate will perform bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular and intrathecal chemotherapy. The candidate will manage and care for a variety of special equipment including an interpreter machine, blood warmer, Hoyer lift, vein finder, and ultrasound-guided IV machine. The candidate must comply with a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling. The candidate should be aware of the EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty. The candidate will work 5 days per week with hours that may vary based on staffing needs. The patient ratio is 3 patients per nurse during the day. The facility sees a daily census of 65-75 infusion patients. The candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team that provides comprehensive patient support. This position requires proficiency in administering chemotherapy and managing side effects associated with treatment. The candidate must be experienced in managing central lines and providing patient education and support.
