SPECIALTY SURGICAL TECH/ Ortho RIAO

Specialty Surgical Technologist – Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedics Shift: 8‑hour shifts (6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.) Surgical Services Orthopedics – trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation & replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle. Responsibilities Assists the surgeon/physician during surgical interventions under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting, may participate in patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Supports the surgical team in a cohesive and safe environment, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and adhering to the National Patient Safety Goals. Qualifications Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass diploma/graduation test). American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR Certification. Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate (CST – Certified Surgical Technologist) already obtained.
