Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced CVOR Registered Nurses for winter holiday coverage. This role involves providing specialized Cardiovascular Operating Room care within a dynamic healthcare team, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes during high-demand periods.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique and monitoring patient vitals.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth operative workflows and timely procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding holiday coverage and availability, including working designated major holidays.
• Complete all required compliance and orientation modules prior to start date.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in GA or a recognized Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or operating room nursing.
• Proven ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and call shifts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CVOR procedures, sterile technique, and intraoperative monitoring.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts, with call and floating responsibilities as needed.
