Job Summary and Qualifications You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting systems within the Facilities Management Department, including but not limited to fire, building automation, nurse call, card access, databases, space management, overhead paging systems, and spreadsheets. You will identify, diagnose, and solve support calls. You will train other facilities management staff as required for their daily functions with these systems. You will be maintaining the resource center, computer assistance, weekend shifts, and other related duties as required or assigned by the supervisor. Equipment List: Hand tools Power tools Test instruments 2-way radio Vehicles Position Requirements Some college preferred or equivalent experience Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the following areas: Building DDC systems with a strong HVAC background. Fire Systems (both analog and digital). Nurse Call and/or paging systems Computer systems (hardware and software) with a strong knowledge of databases Must be able to trouble shoot in stressful situations, which could involve life safety issues. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be proficient with hardware installations of PC’s, printers, terminals and related peripherals. Must be familiar with multiple operating systems and have basic knowledge of MS Office products. Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
