TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST/DRIVER

Job Summary The Transportation Specialist/Driver at Kirksville Motor Company is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This job is located in Kirksville, Missouri. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to designated locations as per schedule Inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before transportation Complete vehicle transportation paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation equipment and tools Communicate with customers and other team members as needed to provide updates on transportation schedules and vehicle status Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transportation equipment as needed Other duties as assigned by management Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Must own a smart phone Valid driver's license and clean driving record Submit to background check and MVR Knowledge of vehicle transportation regulations and safety procedures Ability to operate transportation equipment (e.g. trailers, flatbeds) and basic tools Strong attention to detail and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
