Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Expect to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

We are seeking a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse with recent experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in a team nursing environment, working in conjunction with LPNs and PCAs to ensure patient safety and quality care for a maximum of 8 patients.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and provide peripheral line care/management.
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as required.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain a safe patient environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg/Tele nursing experience.
• Current NY State RN License.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
