RN: NICU

Job Description: Join a Neonatal ICU team in Brighton as a Registered Nurse supporting critically ill full‑term and premature infants in a high‑acuity NICU setting. This FLEX position runs on a 12‑hour schedule with rotating start times at 7a and 7p, including every‑other weekend and every‑other holiday coverage. You’ll provide in‑house emergency nursing service for neonates and coordinate complex medical and surgical care needs, working closely with families while maintaining safe, efficient, effective, and timely practice. What makes this assignment unique is the mix of complex NICU work and emergency coverage within a FLEX rotation - so you’ll be at the center of rapid response, structured shift flow, and hands‑on problem solving. Requirements include a current RN Massachusetts license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP, plus Nursing Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred). Experience in NICU is required, along with strong assessment and clinical skills, organizational capability, computer proficiency, and charge readiness. Lift, transfer, and patient movement abilities are required, as is clear English communication and the math skills needed for treatment protocols.
