RN - PCU/Stepdown

Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a step-down unit. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a step-down environment.Shift DetailsSchedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)Contract Length: 13 weeks with the possibility of extensionEvery other weekend and holidays are requiredResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a step-down unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:Assessing and monitoring patient conditionsAdministering medications and treatments as prescribedUtilizing telemetry for patient monitoringStarting IVs and managing intravenous therapiesDocumentation and coordination with healthcare team membersQualificationsCandidates must meet the following requirements:Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Intermediate to advanced knowledge in telemetry and IV therapyExperience with Cerner EMR is preferredPrevious travel nursing experience is a plusAdditional InformationRoyal blue scrubs are required for this position.
