Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing./ppSalary Benefits Information/ppIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more./ppWhat youll do:/pulliOperate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and equipment/liliPerform geotechnical and environmental drilling/liliPerform various drilling activities including soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation/liliPrepare necessary logs/records and file reports/liliControl safety procedures on site/li/ulpMinimum Requirements Qualifications:/pulliPast drilling experience is strongly preferred but not required - candidates with equipment operation experience will be considered/liliHave a mechanical background and aptitude, with skills in operating and maintaining machinery/liliMust commit to working safely and ensuring the safety of co-workers/liliMust be at least 18 years old/liliMust be compatible and able to communicate with other people in a small team environment/liliMust be comfortable working outdoors/liliBe able to work 12 - hour shifts (day or night) in various climatic conditions for extended periods of time/liliValid Drivers License and reliable driving record/liliAbility to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance/liliAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound/liliAbility to kneel and squat occasionally/liliAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time/liliAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)/liliAbility to climb occasionally/liliBe physically fit and able to pass a fit for duty test/li/ulpPreferred Requirements Qualifications:/pulliCommercial Drivers License (CDL)/liliH.S.
