Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care UnitAmerican TravelerEdmonds, Washington, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-11-09$2,031.28/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring IMC-level skills and a WA or compact RN license.DetailsHospital-based PCU with mixed Telemetry and IMCU patient populations across two floorsIMCU unit (3E) maintains a 1:3 patient ratio; Telemetry unit (2E) maintains a 1:4 patient ratioNight shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30May float to IMCU, Telemetry, or CDU units as neededCares for adult and geriatric patients with respiratory failure, cardiac, renal, CIWA, and GI conditionsPerforms pre/post cardiac cath care, cardioversion/defibrillation, 12-lead EKG, and BiPAP/CPAP managementManages PICC/central lines, Port-A-Cath, PCA pumps, epidural pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vacsAdministers cardiac drips including amiodarone and antiarrhythmics (no titration)Uses Epic EMR systemRequirementsActive WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submissionMinimum 2 years of recent RN experience requiredRequired certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSSMust be an IMC-level RN to qualify for this PCU positionEpic EMR experience requiredExperience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management requiredExperience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and tracheostomy managementExperience with central line, PICC line, and peripheral line care/management requiredTwo supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years requiredAdditional InformationProvides comprehensive PCU-level nursing care across telemetry and IMCU patient populationsMust commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodatedTravelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted locationFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyLocal candidates accepted at the same bill rateMust reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate eligibilityFormer Providence health system employees must have a minimum 3-month separation before returning as a travelerReturning staff must also reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facilityHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
